The Short-term Missions Department (STM) seeks to magnify God's glory among the nations by coming alongside long-term missionaries to participate in short-term projects.
Our endeavor is to enable and equip students through the ministry of the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, to go out into the world as catalysts for unveiling the mystery of the gospel (John 17:17-19). The STM department exists to walk students through involvement on a short-term mission team. Every year individuals initiate leadership of a team according to God's moving, and other students are then free to join with the leader to humbly serve with their peers. Any student can propose a short-term trip and pursue leadership.
A wave of teams goes out over interterm and summer break, usually for a period of 2-6 weeks, depending on the trip. Since 1922 our teams have served in almost 50 countries and we continue to support the vision of students for any country or people group.
